Weather and climate are inherently linked through processes operating at various spatial and temporal scales ranging from local weather phenomena to global climate patterns. Understanding the interplay between these scales and comprehending their complexities is crucial for improving weather forecasts, enhancing our climate projection capabilities, and developing effective strategies to mitigate the impacts of extreme events and climate change.

This workshop, organized by the IAMAS International Commission on Dynamical Meteorology, focuses on the dynamics across scales that shape our weather and climate, including feedback mechanisms, cascading effects, and emergent properties. The workshop aims to bridge disciplinary boundaries and provide a platform for researchers to exchange ideas, share advancements, and foster collaborations to advance our understanding of these intricate interactions.

The workshop will be mainly in person with live streaming, and will include invited lectures, shorter contributed talks, and poster presentations, as well as ample time for In-depth discussions or the latest research issues.
